JACKSONVILLE ARTISTS INTERPRET ICONS OF POP CULTURE

Group Art Show at Comics & Classics

Comics & Classics of Jacksonville Beach presents its first group show with “Icons: Interpretations of Comic & Gaming Pop Culture.” “Icons” brings together the talents of local artists, as they interpret iconic figures of the comic and gaming industries.

“Icons” will open August 2nd, with a reception for the artists from 7pm to 9pm and run through the end of the month. Open and free to the public, Comics & Classics presents art show opening receptions each first Saturday evening of the month.

Established in October 2007, Comics & Classics specializes in comics and graphic novels, as well as comic, urban and pop culture art. Hosting monthly art shows and art classes, Comics & Classics values the role of the local artist and writer in building a vibrant and unique community.
